I’m going to the city on Thursday (WHOOOOOOO) but I don’t know which show I should see. I’m trying to choose one among Les Mis, Matilda, Kinky Boots, Bridges of Madison County, Pippin, and If/Then. There are awesome people in all of them that I’d love to see on stage so that doesn’t really help me :( Any suggestions?

I saw Peter and the Starcatcher this past Saturday in San Francisco. The show was amazing, of course, but an unintended mistake ended in the most hilarious improv I’ve seen in a while!
Black Stache had just lost his hand. He throws it as Smee, but it tumbles off the stage into the aisle. Smee runs to go get it and hops right back on stage.
Some Mollusk: Where did he go? It’s like he disappeared completely and just magically reappeared!
Black Stache: Yea..what is this? Why can’t I see out of it (starts miming like he’s trapped in a box, referring to the 4th wall) What is this? Where are we? I’m so confused!
HAHAHHA It made my day, seeing Black Stache doing a confused dance by that invisible wall….that’s what I love about theater. The unexpected surprises :)
